Horton Kirby Paper Mill is located in the centre of the village, south of Darenth in Kent. We were initially appointed by Fairview New Homes to prepare an Urban Design Brief and to undertake a Heritage Audit of this sensitive site and its relationship with the adjacent Conservation Area.
The brief was subsequently developed in close consultation with Sevenoaks Borough Council and local residents and resulted in an approved predominantly residential mixed use master plan based on sensitively designed new buildings and conversion of retained listed structures.
Planning Permission was granted in spring 2006 and construction is currently on site.
