Scheme description
The River Thames was once lined with large warehouse buildings many of which still exist today. Globe View was one such building looking for a new use in a buoyant residential market.
The former fur warehouse was retained largely intact. A new covered atrium space was created incorporating carefully designed new build interventions such as lift towers and access balconies. By adding a new block around three sides of the atrium, a total of 136 dual aspect apartments were created many with stunning views over the river.
The scheme is an oasis of calm in an otherwise noisy part of the city.
