Scheme description
Formation Architects developed a scheme on behalf of Barratt East London for the new town centre of Dalston in the London Borough of Hackney. The development of this site includes the construction of a new Underground station for the East London Line extension. The scheme has a new public space at its heart which is framed by retail, a 4000 sq. ft. public library and other community facilities as well as 860 private and affordable dwellings. The two 18 storey towers create a new landmark for Dalston's new town centre.
