Experience:
Tim Quick graduated from Newcastle University with First Class Honours. He spent 12 years at Foster Associates where he worked on a wide variety of different jobs: as project architect for the Royal Academy extension in 1990: as one of the Associates responsible for the construction of the Carré d’Art in Nîmes: on a variety of houses for private clients of Norman Foster: as Associate in charge of a new high school in Fréjus, France: on competitions including the Grand Stade de France: on the Millau Viaduct competition and design and many others.
The last major project that Tim was responsible for at Fosters was as Project Director for the £60m conversion of the Treasury Building in Whitehall, London.
Tim joined Halpern Architects in July 2001 and has since been the Director in charge of a variety of projects including Cambridge Hills Road, Elektron, Plough Lane, Murray House and many others. Tim is a member of the influential RIBA Housing Committee.
Along with other senior members of the practice Tim has been instrumental in the re-structuring of the practice to become Formation Architects.
