Experience:
After completing his studies at Canterbury College Simon has gained twenty years experience in private practice, covering new build and refurbishment projects.
Simon successfully completed retail projects for Marks and Spencer at Norwich and Lakeside, Thurrock and a new Next store in Peterborough, with John Taylor and Associates, and space planning analysis at DEGW before moving to Formation Architects.
He has worked on a wide variety of office projects including a new build office at 60 Gracechurch Street and refurbishment schemes in Berkeley Square, Carlton House Terrace, and Golden Square, London.
Simon had a senior role in the design team responsible for a mixed use office/retail/leisure development at Lion Plaza in the City of London. This included the restoration of listed buildings.
He has recently completed a high specification residential refurbishment in Kensington and an office refurbishment for a Legal Practice near the Old Bailey.
Throughout Simon’s many years in the ‘construction industry’ he has gained considerable site experience and held ‘Site Architect’ posts on Carlton House Terrace and Lion Plaza projects.
He also has working knowledge of many procurement methods such as traditional Contracts, Design & Build, Construction Management, Management Contracts, and undertaking Contract Administration.
