Experience:
Neil Farrance has worked in private practice for 24 years since graduating from Canterbury School of Architecture.
He joined Halpern Architects in 1991 as a result of the merger with the Ley Colbeck Partnership. Whilst at Ley Colbeck Neil was responsible for a variety of specialist areas of design and construction, which included comprehensive commercial leisure developments, high rise city offices and various prison projects.
Major assignments undertaken whilst at Halpern Architects include: a development of 134 new build luxury apartments in Kensington; a high rise development of 350 apartments overlooking the River Thames in Greenwich; master planning for 830 dwellings at Pembroke Park, Crawley; the creation of luxury high value apartments above the Curzon Cinema, Mayfair;
masterplan proposals for a mixed use development at Haywards Heath; predominantly residential mixed use proposals in Harrow and a mixed use hotel and residential development, Lillie Road.
Current projects include the restoration of a Grade II* listed building in Park Lane to create a single family house and master planning for a number of residential sites in Romania to create over 3000 dwellings.
In recent months Neil has been working closely with other senior members of the team in the restructuring of the practice to become Formation Architects.
